E-learning courses

The Weber’s Valley Winelands Skills Centre in Jamestown, Stellenbosch offers e-learning training opportunities to all interested in improving their skills and positioning themselves for better work opportunities.  

Register for an extensive list of training courses that will put you in the home run for your next job! You can pre-book your seat at the Training Centre or complete the courses through distance learning. 

The scope includes Short Courses like computer skills, soft skills, leadership skill and learner driver’s license. Short Learning Programmes like Report Writing, Excel on Steroids, Project Management, Basic Computer Skills, Sales, Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

There are also Work Readiness Programmes like basic MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Google sheets and Forms, Conflict Management, Stress Management, CV Construction, Interview Preparation, Diversity, Business Ethics and Communication Skills.

A full year qualification in Administration, Contact Centre, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Project Management, Leadership, Logistics and Retail is also available as well as 

Compliance courses like Fire Fighting, First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

Assessments such as Workplace Assessments, Excel Assessments and Behavioral Competencies are included as well as Validations through certification of completed courses.
